Softball: Vikings lose three at tournament
The Western Washington University softball team suffered three tough losses as it was able to score just three runs and committed some costly errors in first-day action at the 11th Annual Mizuno Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif.
The Vikings opened the tourney with a 6-2 loss to Cal State San Bernardino. They were blanked 3-0 by Cal State Dominguez Hills and lost 5-1 in eight innings to Chico State.
