Softball: 草榴社区 gets bats going against Dominican
Cheyenne Best was 3 for 3 with a home run and two doubles and Jessica Carey had three singles as the Western Washington University softball team broke out of a batting slump with a season-high run total to defeat Dominican University, 12-4, in a game that was called after five innings because of the eight-run mercy rule Saturday in second-day action at the 11th Annual Mizuno Tournament of Champions.
