Students send letters, lyrics to people in the Philippines
About 100 Western Washington University students and Bellingham, Wash., community members gathered Thursday night, Nov. 20, to offer thoughts and prayers for Typhoon Haiyan victims.
The Filipino-American Student Association hosted the vigil and members asked attendees if they knew someone directly impacted by the typhoon. About half raised their hands.
