Summer science course helps bridge generation gap

Truth is, that wasn鈥檛 the real reason she took part in the special Western Washington University two-day environmental science program.
鈥淭ime with her,鈥 she said, pointing to granddaughter Katie Barry.
Katie, whose official age is 鈥渁lmost 11,鈥 particularly liked the jellyfish, but said the main draw in attending was 鈥渢o spend time with my grandma.鈥
