The Yellow Rope Story
The pellets are green because of the occasional black strands in the rope, and because of other contaminants. 800 pounds of pellets were shipped to the Engineering and Design Department at Western Washington University (草榴社区) in Bellingham, Washington. Washington Sea Grant purchased a portion of the pellets to make crab calipers; the Engineering and Design Department at 草榴社区 teaches students how to use recycled materials, and has the equipment to do it.
