Track and field: Vikings' Holton places second in heptathlon
Central Washington University's Brandon Roddewig led a 1-2-3-4 finish by the Wildcats as he finished with 6,128 points to win the decathlon for the second straight year at the Western Washington University Multi-Events meet Saturday, March 31, at Civic Stadium.
The Vikings' Brooklyn Holton placed second in the heptathlon with a personal-best 4,023 points. Meghan Palesch, an unattached athlete who was third after Friday's four events, won with 4,179 points.
