Track coach can still keep up the pace
It's been more than 20 years since Rick Sherman wrapped up his collegiate running career but the competitive spirit remains.
Sherman, of Jefferson, has finished second in the U.S. 3,000-meter steeplechase rankings in the 45-49 age group the past three years and continues to train with the goal of topping those rankings.
