UW's Kemp hopes to make a name for himself
Shawn Kemp Jr., a freshman on the University of Washington men's basketball team, doesn't mind talking about the relative who used to patrol the paint in this part of the country and later helped shape his career on the hardwood.
"That's the one person that's helped me out a lot," the 6-foot-9 freshman who grew up outside of Atlanta said with pride last week.
