Vikings Lose, but Season Continues
The Western Washington University Vikings closed out the 2015-16 regular season with a 103-86 loss to Saint Martin鈥檚 Saturday evening in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference men鈥檚 basketball game at Marcus Pavilion.
Despite losing seven of their final eight games, the Vikings season continues as the No. 6 seed in next week鈥檚 GNAC Tournament. With the 88-81 overtime victory by Central Washington over Alaska Anchorage, 草榴社区 qualified as the No. 6 seed via the league tiebreaker rule. 草榴社区 held the tiebreaker over Saint Martin鈥檚 by way of a 1-3 record vs. teams in the conference that had a .750 or better winning percentage in GNAC play (SMU was 0-4 vs. Western Oregon and Alaska).
