Vikings sign Yakima CC guard
"Guard Rico Wilkins, who earned region MVP honors at Yakima Valley CC two years ago, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play men's basketball at Western Washington University beginning this fall.
The 6-foot Wilkins, who was the Northwest Athletic Association for Community Colleges Eastern Region MVP in 2008-09 at Yakima Valley CC. He averaged 15.8 points and 1.8 steals for the Yaks, helping them to a 22-6 record and the playoff semifinals."
