Virginia Wright, art collector and philanthropist who changed Seattle鈥檚 cultural landscape, dies at 91
The Virginia Wright Fund donated several well-known public sculptures to Seattle (including Barnett Newman鈥檚 鈥淏roken Obelisk鈥 in University of Washington鈥檚 Red Square and Jonathan Borofsky鈥檚 鈥淗ammering Man鈥 looming above Seattle Art Museum) as well as the campus of Western Washington University in Bellingham, her hometown (including works by Richard Serra, Nancy Holt, Bruce Nauman and others).
