Want to walk through the carved tunnel at Sehome Hill Arboretum? Here鈥檚 why you can鈥檛
Crews have closed the tunnel at after finding that rocks had fallen inside the space, according to the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department.
The tunnel is part of the roughlyat the arboretum, which is adjacent to Western Washington University. The city of Bellingham and Western run the nearly 176-acre forested preserve, known for its 80-foot observation tower that offers views of the city, Bellingham Bay, San Juan Islands and Cascade Mountains.
The tunnel is near the top of the arboretum.
