Western students volunteer to feed homeless for holidays
Bellingham鈥檚 homeless and low-income families have the opportunity to gather at Maritime Heritage Park for a warm Thanksgiving dinner this weekend.
Rising Hope Street Ministry, a homeless outreach ministry, will be hosting the second annual 鈥淭hanksgiveaway鈥 from 3-7p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the park.
This year, Rising Hope founder Jon Ng鈥檚 goal is to host a bigger 鈥淭hanksgiveaway鈥 than last year by partnering with other local ministries, he said.
