Women's basketball: Vikings lose in tournament opener
Guard Corinn Waltrip, who scored a game-high 17 points, had a three-point shot to tie blocked in the final seconds as Western Washington University fell 66-63 to Chico State University to open the Great Northwest Athletic Conference/California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Challenge Classic on Friday, Dec. 10, at Royal Brougham Pavilion on the campus of host Seattle Pacific University.
