Women's basketball: Vikings win fifth straight game
Guard Kristin Schramm led a balanced attack with 12 points as Western Washington University defeated Saint Martin's University 68-50 on Thursday, Jan. 5, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball contest at Marcus Pavilion on the SMU campus in Lacey. It was the fifth straight victory for the Vikings, who improved to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the GNAC.
