WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Vikings lose exhibition to Huskies
Western Washington University stayed close for most of the first half, before falling 63-46 to NCAA Division I University of Washington in an exhibition women's basketball game Wednesday, Nov. 3, at UW.
It was the first action of the season for either team.
Washington was led by 6-foot-2 junior forward Mollie Williams, who finished with game highs of 14 points and 16 rebounds. Guards Sarah Morton and Kristi Kingma scored 13 and 11 points, respectively, for the Huskies, and forward Mackenzie Argens added nine points and 11 rebounds.
