WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: 草榴社区 edges Saint Martin's
An own goal proved to be the difference as Western Washington University edged Saint Martin's University 2-1 in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer game Saturday, Sept. 18, to complete a four-game homestand at Whatcom Community College.
The Vikings, who improved to 5-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the conference, are riding a 13-match unbeaten streak (11-0-2) that dates back into the 2009 season.
