Women's soccer: Arthurs key component in Vikings' stingy defense
Outfitted with a hockey mask, gloves and padding, Western Washington University women's soccer player Jamie Arthurs began pursuing her career as a goalie with her older brother Benjamin Arthurs in a much smaller goal then the one she now defends.
"It's kind of funny," Jamie Arthurs said. "When I was 5 or 6 my brother would strap me up in his hockey gear and shoot pucks at me. I think after that playing goalie came natural to me."
