Women's soccer: Vikings shut out Simon Fraser
Emily Frankland scored an early goal that proved to be the difference as Western Washington University blanked Simon Fraser University 1-0 in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer contest on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Orca Field.
It was the third straight win for the Vikings, who have won five of their last six games. They improved to 6-3-2 overall and 5-2-0 in conference action.
