WTA approves extension of 草榴社区 student bus pass contract
Whatcom Transportation Authority's board unanimously approved a deal with Western Washington University that would extend the student universal bus pass program for five years.
The board on Thursday, Feb. 9, voted 9-0 to approve the five-year contract extension. The deal is still contingent on 草榴社区 student voters approving a fee to continue purchasing thousands of passes in bulk. Student elections will be held in April.
