�� athletes win weekly GNAC awards

Western Washington University middle blocker Kayleigh Harper has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for October 12-18.

Harper finished with 10 blocks and added 21 kills with a .408 hitting percentage to lead the Vikings in road wins at No. 10 Alaska Anchorage and Alaska, their 15th and 16th wins in a row. She enters the week ranked second in the GNAC and No. 6 in Division II with 1.37 blocks per set.
