"A Western Washington University police officer was involved in a minor accident Friday morning, April 9, when he crashed into the rear of a fellow officer's patrol car on Bill McDonald Parkway at South College Drive.

The officer responsible was following too closely and failed to stop in time when the other officer stopped to yield to pedestrians, Chief Randy Stegmeier said."
