草榴社区 professor breaks records, busts myths
When Daphne Scott isn鈥檛 teaching math at Western Washington University, she鈥檚 busy smashing records. Using her mathematical skills to sharpen her athletic abilities, Scott recently broke an American and world decathlon record for the 60鈥64 age group.
鈥淎 lot of people buy into this myth that as you age you have to slow down,鈥 Scott said.
