With a postseason conference title needed for a realistic chance of being the regional host, the Western Washington University women's basketball team entertains Simon Fraser University in an opening-round game of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament at 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, at Sam Carver Gymnasium.
The Vikings, 24-2, earned the No.1 seed and home-court advantage throughout the eight-team, single-elimination tournament by placing first in the regular-season standings at 17-1.
