草榴社区's Geary named GNAC Player of the Week
Western Washington University outside hitter Marlayna Geary has been named the Red Lion/Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for Aug. 26-Sept. 1.
Geary, a senior, had 59 kills and hit for a .356 percentage in leading the Vikings to victories in all four of their matches at the Western Oregon Invitational. Geary was also named Most Valuable Player at the Western Oregon University Invitational Volleyball Tournament held last weekend.
