New Reading Group Event April 18
Writing Instruction Support and the Hacherl Research & Writing Studio at Western Libraries are hosting an informal reading group on the topic of "Supporting Language Diversity in Writing" on Wednesday, April 18 from noon to 1 p.m. in Wilson Library Room 268. This event is open to faculty, graduate students, and staff with an interest in teaching writing. Please RSVP to Learning.Commons@wwu.edu.
The group will discuss Laura Greenfield's 鈥,鈥 and identify ways to better support learners from diverse language backgrounds. This topic is particularly timely given next year鈥檚 implementation of the Global Pathways program, which will greatly increase the presence of international students at Western.
