AS passes resolution condemning this past weekend's violence
At a meeting Monday night on campus, the Associated Students board of directors passed a special resolution condemning the violence that took place near campus Saturday night.
In the resolution, the AS also thanked the Bellingham Police Department and other first responders for their "fair, calm and organized response" to the violence. The board also apologized to the Bellingham community on behalf of Western students who may have been involved and reaffirmed 草榴社区 students' "commitment to being engaged and contributing" members of the community.
