Boeing VP Jerry Allyne to speak at Western Jan. 31
Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics will host Jerry Allyne as part of its Strategic Management Executive Strategy Speaker Series from 3 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, in Communications Facility Room 110.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Allyne began his career in Silicon Valley in the early 1980s as an electrical engineer designing and testing microprocessors. In 1986, he joined Boeing as an engineer and, since July 2010, has served as vice president of Strategic Planning and Analysis for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role, Allyne also managed the Boeing Current Market Outlook, a 20-year global projection of air traffic volumes and airplane demand that ultimately shaped Boeing’s business strategy and product offerings.
Allyne has held several executive positions at Boeing in finance, including serving as vice president of Supply Chain Management and Operations Finance.

The Speaker Series is presented by the CBE’s Center for Innovation in Education.
