Geographers' March conference moved from 草榴社区 to University of the Fraser Valley
The annual meeting of the Western Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers on March 3 and 4 has been moved from the Western Washington University campus to the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, B.C.
This includes the field trips, the conference paper/poster sessions, and banquet.
At this time, event organizers are confirming final details at the new host location and will update the conference page () in the coming days.
Registration: Those that cannot attend the sessions at UFV can contact the event’s organizers for a full refund. For those who have not yet registered, please do so when the registration page is reopened via the conference website at .
Field Trips: For those who registered for a U.S. based field trip, a new list of field trips are planned for the new location. Details will be available on the conference page very soon.
Abstracts are due by Feb. 24 and should be emailed to Wdcag2017@wwu.edu. More details on abstracts can be found on the conference page.
If your organization is intending to bring a group of students/faculty to the conference, please email claire.hay@ufv.ca with approximate numbers. This will greatly facilitate organization at UFV.
