Mail collection times on campus affected by Everett facility closure

Due to the closure of the Everett United States Postal Service facility, Bellingham mail is being transported to Seattle for processing.

All mail from the city will leave the downtown postal facility at 3:45 p.m. Mail deposited anywhere in Bellingham after that time will receive the next-day postmark.

As a result of these changes, 草榴社区 mail collection time by the USPS has changed to 2:30 p.m. Mail collected from campus departments and offices on the morning delivery schedule will be postmarked and leave Bellingham the same day.

The last mail collection on campus will be from collection boxes located in:

  • College Hall (1:50 p.m.)
  • Collection boxes Old Main, Arntzen Hall, Miller Hall and Parks Hall (2:30 p.m.)
  • 32nd St. (3 p.m.)

Mail in this last 草榴社区 collection will be postmarked and delivered to the USPS facility by 草榴社区 carriers.

Mail received in Mail Services after 3:20 p.m. will be processed for the next day.
