Next RSP workshop to focus on budget justifications and broader impacts

The winter quarter workshop series from Research and Sponsored ProgramsÌýconcludes Feb. 3Ìýwith topics related to budget justifications and broader impact statements.

From noon to 1 p.m. in Viking Union Room 462,ÌýTracey Finch will cover the basics of writing effective budget justifications. Additionally, Vice Provost KathleenÌýKittoÌýwill be joined by EmilyÌýBorda, associate professor in the Chemistry Department, to discuss broader impact statements for National Science Foundation proposals.

AttendeesÌýinterested in learning more about the meaning of broader impact may wish to reviewÌý/.

These sessions, part of a new series from RSP, are intended to be interactive and are meant to build a community for those involved in writing proposals.

Workshops will continue spring quarter; they'llÌýbe offered from noon to 1 p.m. on Mondays starting on April 4Ìýin Miller Hall 258. More details will be posted soon.
