for Western Washington University students, faculty, staff and advisory board members to nominate candidates to receive honorary doctoral degrees from Western.  Western's honorary doctorates are intended to recognize outstanding achievements in the arts, letters, sciences or the professions, or service in education, government or humanitarian endeavors that resonate with Western's distinctive excellence and values.
