ISSUE:

As another phase of the project that brought student email and OneDrive accounts into @wwu.edu with faculty and staff last spring, messages sent to mailboxes ending in @students.wwu.edu will no longer be delivered beginning March 20, 2017.

Students whose email addresses used to end in @students.wwu.edu can now be reached by sending to the same username @wwu.edu.

ACTIONS REQUIRED:

• Please send future messages so the email address looks like username@wwu.edu (Note: “students.” is removed from the old address).
• If you send messages using an address list or database, please correct the information in that source so that all students have addresses of username@wwu.edu
• Email programs typically keep a history (i.e., cache) of email addresses you have mailed to previously. Please delete all that end in @students.wwu.edu so you don’t inadvertently send to an old address.
