Panel discussion 'How Do We Balance Individual Rights and Public Safety in a Health Crisis?' set for April 30

The 草榴社区 Faculty Senate and the Office of Equity will host a panel discussion, "How Do We Balance Individual Rights and Public Safety in a Health Crisis?," from 4:30-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30 in the Wilson Library Reading Room.

This event is free and open to the entire campus community.

The panel moderator is Karen Stout (director of 草榴社区's Morse Leadership Institute) and panelists are Fiona Felker (instructor, Anthropology), Ying Li (professor, Health and Human Development), and Raymond Belarmino of PeaceHealth.

The last installment of the year-long Building Community Through Difficult Conversations series sponsored by the Faculty Senate and the Office of Equity, "How Do We Balance Individual Rights and Public Safety in a Health Crisis?" is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to engage on real-world scenarios in a collegial, small group setting.
