Panel to discuss safety in Bellingham at Dec. 2 event
The Associated Students Student Senate is hosting a panel discussion "Is Bellingham Safe? The facts on law enforcement, crime and partying" about the safety of Bellingham in light of recent armed robberies. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, in Academic Instructional Center Room 204.
Topics to be discussed include crime trends in Bellingham and on Western’s campus, what students can do to stay safe and the party bus.
Associated Students President Colin Watrin will be among the panelists. AS Student Senate moderators will ask questions, and audience members will have opportunities to ask their own questions.
Free pizza will be provided for attendees.
