Faculty, staff and students talk diversity, inclusion
President Shepard and the President鈥檚 Task Force for Diversity Equity and Inclusion invited students, faculty and staff to a Cultural Consciousness Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, Nov. 10聽in VU 565.
The luncheon was a further effort to draw from the experiences of those on campus and gather our ideas about how the University can further improve our diversity efforts through training to benefit the entire campus community. In President Shepard鈥檚 opening Convocation remarks this year he stated that 鈥溾 President Shepard and the members of the task force are hoping for further help from the campus community with this initiative.
