Opening Convocation and Awards Ceremony officially kicks off the school year
The traditional breakfast in the VU this morning was followed by the presentation of the annual Awards for Excellence and President Randhawa's Opening Convocation remarks.
This year's award winners are:
- Outstanding Faculty Leadership Award: Karen Rohrbauck Stout
- Outstanding Classified Staff Award: Clarissa Mansfield
- Diversity Achievement Award: Glenn Tsunokai
- Professional Staff Award: Tim McLaughlin and Catherine Shornick
- Carl H. Simpson Bridging Award: Jessica Cohen
- Philip E. Sharpe Jr. Community Engagement Award: June Fraser Thistle
- Team Recognition Award: The MABEL Team
