Planetarium Shows, PBS' Jeffrey Brown Among the Attractions of Western's Fall Family Open House Oct. 26-27

BELLINGHAM – There are still tickets available to a number of shows and events that are part of Western Washington University’s Fall Family Open House weekend on Oct. 26 and 27, including the popular planetarium shows and seats at the weekend’s keynote with PBS NewsHour’s Jeffrey Brown.
The planetarium shows are on Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for general admission and are available at . The planetarium schedule is as follows:
Friday, Oct. 26:
- 7 p.m.: American Indian Star Lore
- 8:30 p.m.: The Zodiac
Saturday, Oct. 27:
- Noon: The Zodiac
- 1:30 p.m.: American Indian Star Lore
- 3:30 p.m.: The Zodiac
- 5:30 p.m.: American Indian Star Lore
Tickets are still available for Jeffrey Brown’s presentation, “Election 2012-Where We Stand in the US, a Divided America Prepares to Vote,” on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. on Western’s Performing Arts Center’s Mainstage. Tickets are $20 for students and $25 for general admission, and are available at the Western Box Office at (360) 650-6146 or www.tickets.wwu.edu; tickets are also available at Village Books in Fairhaven or the Community Food Co-Op.
