Policies on reimbursement, archival records up for 30-day review
The offices of Business and Financial Affairs and Academic Affairs at Western Washington University have posted the following policies for 30-day campus review from Jan. 29 to Feb. 28:
Academic Affairs – University Archives and Records Center
- : This is a new policy. The policy identifies institutional obligations in the ongoing management of records designated “archival.”
Business and Financial Affairs – Business Services
- : This policy applies to individuals/entities traveling on university business, including faculty, staff, students, contractors/vendors, authorized volunteers, work experience program participants or candidates for employment.
- : This policy applies to any individual conducting university business, including faculty, staff, students, contractors/vendors, authorized volunteers, work experience program participants or candidates for employment.
The draft policies were reviewed by groups and individuals across campus and revised to reflect their input. A 30-day comment period is required prior to the final draft review by the President’s Cabinet. The policies will be posted Jan. 29 to Feb. 28, and the campus community is encouraged to review these documents at . Please feel free to pass this announcement on to other colleagues.
