President Shepard, Cyndie to serve coffee at Western Wednesday event Oct. 27
On Western Wednesday, Oct. 27, Western Washington University President Bruce Shepard and his wife, Cyndie, will be serving coffee from 9 to 10 a.m. at the 草榴社区聽Alumni Association's Get Your Blue On coffee booth in Red Square (or in front of Carver Gymnasium if it's windy).
In addition to pouring coffee, Bruce will be raffling off some of his home-roasted beans. is donating the coffee, as usual, and is giving away personal cheesecakes to the first 60 faculty and staff members who visit the booth. Faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the booth dressed in their Western attire, enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or cider on the Alumni Association and take a spin with the prize wheel!
Also, the Traveling Goodie Basket will be making the rounds Nov. 3 and Dec. 1. To be eligible to win the goodies, send photos of your office dressed in Western gear to alumni@wwu.edu by 10 a.m. on the Goodie Basket date. Creativity is encouraged, and all Goodie Basket winners are entered in a drawing for a catered lunch from .
