President Shepard invites faculty, staff to opening convocation and breakfast
President Bruce Shepard invites all Western Washington University faculty and staff to breakfast and opening convocation on Friday, Sept. 16.
Breakfast will be served between 8 and 9 a.m. in Viking Commons on campus. 聽by Sept. 12; doors open at 8 a.m.
The opening convocation ceremony and the faculty/staff awards presentations will take place from 9:10 to 10:30 a.m. in the PAC Mainstage聽Theater. This year, the awards presentations and President Shepard's address will be videocast live online. .
In lieu of shuttle service for off-campus employees, parking enforcement will be suspended from 7 to 11 a.m.
Breakfast tickets will be sent via campus mail until Sept. 14. After that date, tickets will be held at will call in Viking Commons.
