BELLINGHAM – Kimberly Harris, president and CEO of Puget Sound Energy, will be the keynote speaker during Western Washington University’s 15th Annual Seattle Business Forum luncheon on Monday, April 30 at the Sheraton Hotel Metropolitan Ballroom in downtown Seattle.

Doors will open for the luncheon event at Lunch is served at noon, with Harris’ keynote address at 12:45 p.m.

Kimberly J. Harris is president and CEO of Washington-based Puget Sound Energy, the utility subsidiary of Puget Energy. Her deep industry experience in energy resources and energy efficiency are integral to PSE’s ability to maintain great customer service, reasonable energy costs and thoughtful stewardship of the environment. In addition, her focus on emerging technologies and innovations in energy help ensure PSE is ready to meet customer needs now and in the future.

Prior to being named president of PSE in June 2010 and CEO in March 2011, Harris served as executive vice president and chief resource officer. In this role she was responsible for all of PSE’s energy resources and led the operation of the company’s wind power facilities, which are now the nation’s second-largest utility owned and operated wind resource.

In addition to her responsibilities with PSE, Harris serves on the Washington State Energy Strategy Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the board of directors of the American Red Cross of King and Kitsap counties. Harris is married with two children.
