Do you work with an outstanding colleague at Western Washington University? The  provides the opportunity for faculty and staff to recognize the great efforts of others on campus.

Any time throughout the year, folks in the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø community can  to recognize a Western employee who demonstrates excellence in serving students, visitors or colleagues, based on the characteristics that make them uniquely Western: inviting, engaging, distinctive, collaborative and adventurous.

Western Way honorees are recognized online on the Western Way Wall of Acknowledgment, in Western Today and in a slideshow at the Employee Recognition Ceremony in April.

Recently recognized was Troy Ragsdale, a space analyst in the Registrar's Office, who was lauded by Julia Sapin, chair of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Art Department:

"I feel fortunate to be able to work with Troy on space issues. He is an excellent problem solver; I have never had a problem for which he could not find a solution. He is always pleasant and always goes the extra mile if possible to figure out a way to achieve the objective I am seeking. I must admit that he seems like a magician to me at times, as he always manages to come up with effective answers to my space questions. I am also well aware that there are about 700 faculty asking Troy similar questions at the same time, not to mention 1-2,000 staff. Thank you, Troy!"
