Recommendations accepted on Music Library and STS proposals
Provost Catherine Riordan has made recommendations to President Bruce Shepard, which the president has accepted, on the proposals considered by task forces and Deans involved with budget effects on: the Music Library; Scientific Technical Services (Immediate Needs); and STS (Chargebacks).

Each of the task force recommendation decisions have been conveyed to the faculty and staff of the programs affected by the Scientific Technical Services and Music Library budget cuts to not only inform them first, but to consider together the necessary and desirable positive steps going forward.
The president and the provost expressed their appreciation to the members of the respective task forces and deans who participated in the review process for the creative solutions recommended.
