Retirement celebration for Linda Norman to be held May 23

After 18 years of service to Western Washington University, Linda Norman will be retiring the end of May. Please join Enterprise Application Services in celebrating Linda鈥檚 retirement on Thursday, May 23 from noon to 2 p.m. in Miller Hall 102.

Norman has worked as a Senior Systems Analyst since 2000, developing and enhancing IT systems that support student success. She served as a bridge between the institution鈥檚 complex technical systems and the departments interfacing directly with students, faculty, and staff. Linda served as the lead analyst for Degree Works Implementation and personally created a housing system which Western used for over 10 years. The data warehouse, a critical aspect for reporting, was hand crafted by Linda. Her impact on Western will be felt for years in our systems and our staff. Thank you Linda for your diligent and amazing work over the years.
