Ross, Bajwa and Sandvig receive honorable mention for their paper on Internet ad-blocker usage
Steve Ross, a professor of decision sciences in the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University, presented a paper authored by himself and Chris Sandvig, a 草榴社区 associate professor, and Deepinder Bajwa, a 草榴社区 professor, titled "" at the 2011 annual conference of the , held Oct. 5 to 8, in Mobile, Ala. The paper, which studies the circumstances under which persons employ ad blockers with their internet browsers, received an honorable mention (second place) in the competition for best research paper.
