Satpal Sidhu to Discuss Solar Energy at April 15

BELLINGHAM – Satpal Sidhu of Sunlogics will speak on “Solar Energy – Is a Paradigm Shift at Hand?” as part of Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment speaker series at 3 p.m., Friday, April 15 at °±’s Communications Facility Room 125.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Sidhu will be discussing the role of solar power as a renewable-energy alternative along with the economics of solar power and the differences between power grid and non-grid uses. The future potential and developments of solar power will be explored in the context of electric vehicles.
Sidhu is currently chief operating officer of Sunlogics, a vertically integrated solar company that designs and builds utility scale solar farms, manufactures solar panels and offers other solar related services to its clients. Currently, Sunlogics is partnering with General Motors to build Volt Green Zone Electric Vehicle Charging stations at Chevy Dealers.
The Huxley College of the Environment speaker series is held to bring together interested members of the and Bellingham communities. Speakers address topics of contemporary environmental concern in the region and the world.
