Community invited to Nov. 10 Veterans Day ceremony at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø

Western students, faculty and staff and community members are invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 in Western Washington University’s Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.  Both events are free and open to the public.

Featured speakers will include graduate student Jana Brost, coordinator of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø’s Veteran’s Safe Zone project, and ²ÝÁñÉçÇø President Bruce Shepard.  In observance of the holiday, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø classes will not be held on Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11; this is also a ²ÝÁñÉçÇø employee holiday. The ceremony is sponsored by the Veterans Outreach Center, and the reception is sponsored by the President’s Office.
