Showcasing a diverse array of images, this exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the vibrant experiences and perspectives of Western students鈥 visual perspectives in response to the questions: 鈥淲hy not me?鈥 and 鈥淗ow do we build our own spaces at 草榴社区?鈥
Funded by the Sustainability, Equity, and Justice Fund, the 鈥淭hrough Our Lens鈥 project spanned two quarters. Based on Photovoice, a community-based participatory research methodology, the project connected science and practice, inspiring community engagement and student participation in the development, planning, and implementation of a well-being intervention that gave students a space to reflect individually and communally about belonging and connection at 草榴社区 through the medium of photography.
