Sustainable Office Certification recognition is Oct. 22
The fall 2015 Sustainable Office Certification recognition is set for 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Wilson Library Reading Room.
During a brief ceremony, where framed certificates are presented to the most recently sustainability-certified departments. Frames are custom-made by the ReStore.
The SOC awards will be followed by the All-Campus Sustainability Awards and a brief talk by Courtney E. Martin, Author of “Do It Anyway, the new generation of activists.” The book has been selected as the 2015-16 book for Western Reads. Martin will also speak at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
